That’s Life

These past couple of weeks have been a lot. Nothing terrible and nothing chaotic, just dealing with what life brings.

I’ve been doing a lot of self-reflection lately, trying to figure out what I want to do or who I am. Because let’s be honest, does anyone know what they’re doing with their life?

I look back at who I was in college and who I am now, and they are just not the same people. I think at this point that I am glad for the growth I have had over these past couple of years.

I was also debating if I wanted to quit blogging. I have these thoughts every so often. Sometimes I struggle at balancing my actual job and blogging. But at the end of the day, I enjoy blogging and creating content on topics that I love.

It’s easy to sit here and complain, play victim to all my problems, and shut out the rest of the world. But I think our problems, challenges, and overcomings are part of life.

It would be much easier to throw in the towel, but sometimes we need to toughen up and deal with whatever comes our way. I know not every day will be perfect, and I will not overcome my challenges, but those days are okay too.

This post was not meant to be a complaint post but more to talk about how life is not sunshine and flowers. (To be honest, I think at this point it’s evident that it’s not sunshine and flowers.) Instead, life is one big challenge that we all must face in different ways.

How are you doing? Any challenges that you’re trying to overcome or any good things happening lately? Feel free to let me know!

Thanks for reading!

  1. I can empathise with you about blogging and juggling a full time job. Also everyone has so much of their own things going on and we shouldn’t down play our problems or think that they arent relevant. I too like to remind myself what it is that keeps me coming back to blogging & have enjoyable it can be

  2. Please don’t quit blogging.. Actually if you want to you can lol I say this only bc I “put it down” several times before I found my groove… Now it’s such a fulfilling and important part of my life… If you love to write or share, please continue because you never know who you’ll be able to connect with or inspire 🙂

That’s life indeed… Juggling between different roles while walking on an unstable bridge, yet it’s imperative that we don’t slip.
