5 Goals for the Rest of 2021

I refuse to believe that it is September. Time is an illusion that I cannot seem to grasp. This year went by so fast but at the same time so slow. Lately, I have been feeling off-track both mentally and physically. So, I decided to give myself a little reset for the last part of 2021 and create five goals to help end this year on a high note.

Be More Active

Working at home has significant perks but also some downsides, and the sedentary lifestyle is starting to get to me. I also have been lacking in consistently with working out. So, I really want to start being more active again. Whether it is going for walks, getting a workout in, or even doing some stretching. I just want to be more active.

Find a New Job

This one is tough. I have been looking for a new job on and off for the past year, and it has been challenging. With interviews going nowhere and being ghosted from companies, it is hard to find the motivation to apply for jobs. Yet, at the same time, my current job is something I do not want to be doing. I am continuously burnt out from the long hours of the day, and I don’t know how much longer I can take it.

Be consistent on my blog

I like being consistent on my blog, it makes me feel accomplished, and I enjoy the process of writing and the creation of my posts. However, I fell off that train this past month, and I am trying to get back on it. I originally was going to take the month of September off but decided not to. So instead, I am determined to stay consistent and active here in the blogging world.

Try a new hobby

I have wanted to try something new for a while now. I am not sure exactly what I want to do, but I need to do something other than endlessly scrolling on my phone.

Cook More

When quarantine first started, I was constantly cooking and trying new recipes. But lately, life has been hectic, and I have been dining out more than in. So I want to be back into cooking and baking healthier meals for myself. If you have any recipe ideas feel free to share!

I am excited to work on these goals. However, I try not to overwhelm myself with too many goals at once, as it can cause more stress than benefits. Do you have any end-of-the-year plans? Or anything else you want to talk about, let me know!

Thanks for reading!

  1. So many similar goals. I really want to be more consistent with working out too. For the first time in years I’ve been super slack about it and it is getting to me. I also want to focus on new hobbies and be more consistent here. I’ve had a difficult month and was barely around other than to randomly publish posts. I also want to bake more.
Good luck with your goals, girl. And I’m sure you’ll find the right job soon. The things that didn’t work out weren’t meant for you. ♥️

    • I’m pretty sure at this point we are the same person lol. But I’m hoping you’re able to get able to get a break soon and focus on the things you want to do!

But thank you so much, it means a lot!!

  2. Oouuu I definitely want to be more active. I was very consistent with my workouts up until last month when everything came crashing down.
I also want to eat healthy. This last month has been tragic! Lol.

All the best with your goals!

  3. I’m in a similar position with my job but I have had little success in finding something else. It can be really draining when it takes up a lot of your time and energy and hard to stay positive when each day is the same so well done for sticking in there, I’m sure the right job will come up for you soon!
