A Reflection of 2021

Happy New Years Eve or maybe by the time you’re reading this, Happy New Years!

This year has felt like five years but also two weeks. So much, yet so little has happened.
When I started to reflect on the past twelve months, I felt I had not accomplished much. There are goals I didn’t achieve, things I didn’t do. I spent more time indoors than outdoors. But, overall, I felt that I had wasted another year.

But that’s not true.

I started this blog entirely on a whim. I am essentially trying to grow my brand, a name for myself. I got to discover more about who I am. I decided to commit to creating a healthier lifestyle for myself. And exercise not because I hate myself, but because I care about myself.

While this year might have had any significant milestones, it had steppingstones instead. I have realized I am in a transitional period in my life, and I am ready to continue growing in 2022.

Anyways, thank you to everyone who has made the past year worth it. I never thought this blog would be what it is, and I am beyond grateful to have it. As we leave 2021, I hope 2022 is your best year yet.

Hopefully, you will join me in January with Journal January. Starting Monday, January 3rd, I will post a Journal Prompt every day through the month to help reinspire us as writers or just a time to reflect.

Thanks for reading!
